Additional Language Characters and Viewing csv Files in Microsoft Excel

If you have files with characters in the file name other than English characters, SkySync will generally support this if the underlying storage platform(s) involved in a job support these characters. For example, loading a file with Hebrew or Arabic characters in the file name via SkySync to Box will properly display the file names including the special characters.

When displaying file name csv lists from SkySync's pre-sync analyzer function in Excel, these special characters may display as ASCII or other encoded representations of the characters. This is a display only issue, as viewing the list csv in Notepad shows the correct characters, and the file is unaffected in the storage platform.
